We realised that a horse trailer/box is the perfect shape for a bird box so we made one!
Our personalised horse trailer bird box will make a fabulous and unusual gift for a retirement, house-warming, birthday, wedding, anniversary, and a variety of other special occasions too. It would be an ideal gift for a horse loving wife, husband, mum, dad, sibling, friend, neighbour, (or anyone else you can think of!) and would make a very unusual talking point in any garden. Perfect for someone who owns a horse - or who wishes they did!
The horse trailer bird box can be painted in a choice of colours and has 2 horse motifs painted on it. The doors - left hand side and right hand side - can have 2 words of up to 12 characters each and the numberplate can be personalised with up 10 characters.
Thanks go to the horses in the paddock which is at the bottom of our back garden. They are used to us taking product photos on the boundary fence and generally ignore us unless they smell apples, but this time 2 of them decided to take a much closer look!

The roof lifts off for easy cleaning, the box comes with full mounting and care instructions (we even include the screws) and it is a usable bird box suitable for birds like great tits and blue tits.
Size:
The horse trailer bird house measures approximately 28cm (h) x 18cm (w) x 18cm (d).
All our items are individually handcrafted to order by us in the UK and each one takes time to produce. But this does mean that you get a beautiful item handmade especially for you!
If you have missed our order deadline for your chosen occasion there are three options so you have something to give on the day:
If you want to give a specific item, you can download a pdf voucher card, for which there is no charge, to print at home. The link for the download is HERE (opens in a new window or automatically downloads, depending on your system). It's also on the Gift Voucher Card tab on each product page.
Or you can choose the postal voucher by selecting ''with postal voucher" from the voucher options on the individual product pages. We will post the voucher card to you within 3 working days. There is a £2 charge for the postal gift voucher service (to cover printing and postage).
In both instances will forward the gift (either to you or direct to your chosen recipient) once it has been made.
Or you can purchase online gift cards (here), which are available in several denominations and you can email to your chosen person or print off and give to them direct so they can choose their own gift;
Been given a voucher?
If you've been given one of our voucher cards as a gift then well done, you can choose a gift for yourself! A gift card holds a balance, which can be spent over more than one order.
Here are the instructions for using your voucher - it's a simple 123 process:
- Choose your product and add it to the basket in the usual way.
- Proceed through to the checkout, entering your billing and/or delivery details when prompted.
- Redeem the value of a gift card by entering its unique code at checkout. This code isn't case sensitive. If the balance available on the gift card is greater than or equal to the order total, then click Complete Order. If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, then please choose a second payment method for the balance before placing the order.
