Lindleywood orders awaiting deliveryDelivery Van Bird Box

Dispatch:  We handcraft every item to order and rarely carry stock so we will dispatch as soon as your order is made.  The estimated dispatch/lead time for all products is listed on each individual product page and is dependent on the type of product and time of year.

Please note that during the summer holidays we operate a longer than usual lead time - this is purely because we are a family business with school-aged children and are rather partial to spending time with them doing things like building dens, taking country walks and bike rides, and visiting museums (and we like the occasional camping holiday!)  If you need an item on a shorter lead time than that given, please email prior to ordering and we might be able to help.

Delivery: We use UPS for most of our deliveries where possible. Delivery usually takes 1-3 working days after our dispatch for mainland UK and 2-5 working days for other areas, and will sometimes require a signature. Delivery to a neighbour is acceptable too.

Please note that product delivery only takes place MONDAY-FRIDAY and the quoted dispatch and/or delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless we have agreed prior to placing your order that we will ship by a certain date.

UK delivery is included in our product prices.

International Delivery: We can ship to other worldwide locations by prior arrangement. Please email us for details at info@lindleywood.co.uk as the costs that we incur and the costs that you will incur (in the form of your local country's duties and VAT) will differ from country to country - and sometimes differ from month to month! Please note that any duties and local VAT is payable by the customer at the receiving end - this is especially important if you are a UK customer requesting delivery of a gift to an international address. These charges are beyond our control and have occurred as a result of the UK Government adopting trade barriers on international sales when it decided to leave the European Union. We wish we could retain the old system, but this isn't something we have a choice in.

Note: Cubic weight is calculated on the size of the packaging when all the measurements (width x depth x height) are taken into account.  The weights are not the actual weight of the products - this is much lower, but shipping works on the space the product takes up in the delivery vehicle.

* There's no such thing as free delivery. At some point the delivery firms (whether that's Royal Mail, UPS, or any other delivery company) want to be paid. So when a business says it offers free delivery, what they basically mean is that the delivery cost is included in the price of the goods. It's never 'free'! We feel it's more honest to say that delivery is included in our prices.
